Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 4, 2026

Where Is The Sun is designed to need nothing from you beyond the device in your hand. We do not operate servers that process your personal data. We do not run analytics. We do not track you. This policy describes, in plain language, exactly what the app does and does not do.

1. Who we are

Where Is The Sun ("we", "our", "us", or "the app") is published by the maker of the app. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What the app accesses on your device

To do its job, Where Is The Sun requests permission to use:

3. Data we collect from you

None. Where Is The Sun has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that transmit personally identifiable information, no advertising IDs, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, device identifiers, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

4. Data we share with third parties

None. Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share, sell, or license. We do not participate in ad networks, data brokers, or analytics marketplaces.

5. App Store / Google Play

When you download the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, those platforms collect their own data according to their own privacy policies (for example, aggregated download counts, crash reports, and purchase history). We see only the aggregated reports those platforms provide to all developers. We have no access to your individual account.

6. Children

The app is a general-audience utility. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect data at all.

7. Your rights

Because we do not hold any personal data about you, there is nothing to request access to, correct, or delete on our servers. If you would like the app to stop accessing your location, camera, or motion sensors, you can revoke those permissions in your device's settings at any time. The app will continue to function with reduced capabilities or will prompt you to re-enable them.

8. Security

Because personal data never leaves your device, the primary security control is your device itself. We recommend keeping your operating system updated and using a device passcode.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.

10. Contact

For any privacy questions, write to [email protected].
